It was a rousing finish to the Round 1 at Minute Maid Park today.

The Houston Astros sent the Minnesota Twins home for the season with a 8-6 win in the decisive game of the series.

The Astros took the series 4-3. Up next on their schedule is the Round 2.

Hauling in the MVP trophy was Houston third baseman Alex Bregman. His numbers included a .440 batting average, 4 RBIs and 4 runs.

"With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Round 2," he said.

The Houston Astros don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chicago White Sox - New York Yankees series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
