Blue Jays Get Clutch Win, 6-5
The Minnesota Twins and Toronto Blue Jays provided some drama for the home crowd.

Minnesota shortstop Roy Smalley III had a good game, even if his team did not. The Twins dropped a 6-5 decision to Toronto at Target Field. Smalley III hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jeremy Accardo earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record is now 3-0.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Hurley McNair? The 15-year veteran McNair stroked a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Toronto up, 6-5. For the game, he was 2 for 3, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Good, gritty kind of win," said Blue Jays manager .

The loss makes the Twins 6-13.
