In a low-scoring contest between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers, 27-year old right-handed pitcher Zac Gallen proved to be the difference. The Arizona right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Diamondbacks win. Curt Schilling zipped up his 7th save. The 4th-place Diamondbacks are 17-23.

Wild Bill Wright delivered a big hit for Arizona. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Diamondbacks ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"Scoring was at a premium tonight," Wright said.
