Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Nationals
|
The Washington Nationals snuck past the Philadelphia Phillies, 6-5, in 10 innings. Washington center fielder Martin Dihigo, in particular, had a standout performance. With the loss, Philadelphia is 19-12.
In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Dihigo hammered a solo home run to win it for Washington.
In postgame remarks, Dihigo simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
