Angels Drop 7-1 Decision to Astros
Houston starter Gerrit Cole put the Los Angeles offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his fastball in leading the Astros to a 7-1 win. The winner was Cole. He threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Roy Partlow. The Angels drop to 7-8 and continue their mediocre start to the 2014 season.
