Rays Tuck Away 5-2 Win Over Cleveland
The Tampa Bay Rays knocked off the Cleveland Indians, 5-2, in American League action at Tropicana Field. Tampa Bay pitcher and Hallettsville, Texas, native William Bell had an outstanding performance. Grant Balfour earned the save for Tampa Bay, his 6th of the year. The loss drops the Indians to 6-8.

Catcher Dioner Navarro made an impact for Tampa Bay, when he swatted a 2-run double off Bob Feller in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Navarro was 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Navarro called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
