Miami Marlins starter Kevin Brown turned in a top-notch performance against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The result was a win for the Marlins, 5-0. The loss drops Chicago to 13-16.

In the bottom of the fourth, the Marlins found themselves in a jam. Chicago had the bases loaded with two out. The score was 3-0, Miami. Rick Wilkins was at the plate, hoping to deal the Marlins a serious blow. Instead, he struck out to end the threat.
