Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves.

Sammy Sosa left his imprint on the 5-4 Chicago win against the Atlanta Braves. Sosa, who is tied for 4th in the NL in home runs with 8, belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The loss drops Atlanta to 10-14.

Sosa had a timely hit for Chicago in the top of the ninth. With Chicago trailing 4-2, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Chicago.

Sosa told reporters after the game: "This one was touch and go, but we were able to put it in the win column."
