The umbrellas came out during the Pittsburgh-Colorado contest at PNC Park.

Sam Streeter put on a pitching clinic, while helping the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Colorado Rockies, 5-1. Stan Belinda was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Kevin Ritz.

Dave Parker took Colorado hurler Kevin Ritz deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Pirates on top, 2-1. In all, Parker had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Everything was on," said Streeter.

The Pirates raised their record to 6-3.
