Cardinals Show Moxy in 1-0 Win
The San Francisco Giants wasted an impressive 9-inning effort from starter Christy Mathewson, falling, 1-0, to the St. Louis Cardinals in 13 innings at Busch Stadium. Ryan Franklin picked up the win in relief. Sergio Romo took the loss for San Francisco. With the loss, San Francisco is 5-4.

Dobie Moore delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 13th to win it for the Cardinals. For the game, Moore drew 1 walk.
