The San Francisco Giants handed the Miami Marlins a 4-1 defeat at AT&T Park. Right Fielder Mel Ott starred for San Francisco. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The save was credited to Brian Wilson, his 1st. San Francisco, with the win, is 2-1.

With San Francisco leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Ott hit a sinker from Sandy Alcantara for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Giants ahead, 3-0.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Ott said.
