The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, topping the Minnesota Twins, 6-0. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Webster McDonald. He played a principal role in the triumph. Baltimore, at 60-70, holds down 4th place in the American League Eastern Division.

In the bottom of the first inning, designated hitter Ken Williams had a 3-run home run for Baltimore. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Orioles on top, 3-0.

"Webster just settled in and did what he does," said Baltimore manager .
