The Minnesota Twins got a stellar effort from pitcher Ted Trent, helping Minnesota score a win over the visiting Tampa Bay Rays, 11-2. The win hiked the Minnesota record to 73-59.

Trent was effective against the Rays, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Tampa Bay to just 2 runs on 4 hits over 8.1 innings.
