Houston got a strong outing from Gerrit Cole as the Astros defeated the Minnesota Twins, 4-2, at Minute Maid Park. The winner was Cole. He threw 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball. The loser was Ted Trent. Larry Andersen earned save number 33 this season.
