Rangers Defeated, 4-2
|
Toronto turned a good effort from starter David Wells into a win over the Texas Rangers at Rogers Centre. The final score was 4-2. Toronto, now 66-59, holds down second place in the American League Eastern Division.
In the bottom of the first inning, shortstop Bo Bichette had a 2-run home run for Toronto. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays on top, 2-0.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Bichette.
