The Detroit Tigers faced a tough opponent in Cleveland pitcher Stan Coveleski, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Comerica Tigers Park by a final score of 4-3. Coveleski went 7.2 innings and allowed 4 runs. The Tigers saw their record improve to 53-68.
