Rangers Snag 6-2 Win
Texas Rangers starter Bullet Rogan pitched a strong game against the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, leading the Rangers to victory, 6-2. The win went to Francisco Cordero in relief. His record improves to 7-3. Troy Percival took the loss. At 50-73, the Rangers claim last place in the American League Western Division.

Texas used the timely hitting of Ray Dandridge to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Rangers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I have nothing to complain about," said Texas manager . "I shall sleep well. That's the game we're looking for right there."
