Indians Rally to Win, 6-5
Due in part to catcher Joe Greene, the Cleveland Indians chopped down the Texas Rangers, 6-5, in 10 innings. Greene was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Addie Joss snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-5 on the season. Jeff Zimmerman suffered the loss. Cleveland occupies third place in the American League Central Division at 55-61.

Cleveland used the timely hitting of Lou Boudreau to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Indians on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Boudreau. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
