Late Magic Gets Toronto 5-3 Win
The Toronto Blue Jays faced a tough opponent in Baltimore pitcher Webster McDonald, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Oriole Park at Camden Yards by a final score of 5-3. McDonald went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Paul Quantrill came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 7-1. Duane Ward finished the game for Toronto and earned his 25th save.

Toronto won the game in part because of Bo Bichette. The shortstop ripped a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 4-3. For the game, Bichette had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"It feels good to get this one," Bichette told the Toronto Citizen.

Toronto, now 55-54, holds down third place in the American League Eastern Division.
