Pitcher Ted Trent was sensational for the Minnesota Twins in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Texas Rangers. Trent earned the win. The win boosted Minnesota to 58-47.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Cecil Travis? The Minnesota third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Twins on top, 2-1. For the game, Travis had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
