Houston Sent Home with 6-1 Loss
|
The Toronto Blue Jays wanted a good start from Jimmy Key -- and he delivered one. The result was a 6-1 Toronto win over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. Toronto is third in the American League Eastern Division with a record of 52-53.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Buck Martinez? The Toronto catcher had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 4-1. For the game, Martinez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Key.
