The Los Angeles Angels picked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, dropping the Baltimore Orioles, 4-2. Dean Chance was the difference-maker. The save went to Troy Percival, number 7 for him. The Angels win now puts them at 49-54.

Brian Downing had a big run-scoring double for the Angels in the top of the third inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Dave McNally and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Angels ahead, 2-0.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Los Angeles manager .
