Week's Top Performer Honored by NL Monday, September 29th , 2014 It was announced today that Arizona center fielder Ketel Marte had received the National League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .500 BA (13-for-26), 6 home runs and 14 RBIs. At the moment, Marte is hitting .346 with 20 home runs and 91 RBIs. He has played in 148 games and scored 98 times. |
