Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mario Soto whisked his team past the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-2. The last-place Reds sport a record of 26-27.

Cincinnati used a big swing from Ken Griffey Sr to get the win. The left fielder walloped a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Reds up, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Soto.
