Dodgers Win, 5-2, Over Arizona
|
Los Angeles Dodgers starter Don Sutton pitched well against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field, leading his team to a win, 5-2. Los Angeles now sits at 19-26, while Arizona falls to 24-22.
It could have been a different outcome for Los Angeles, had it not been for Pee Wee Reese, the 28-year old shortstop . Reese contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0.
"I thought Don threw the ball well across the board," said Los Angeles manager .
