Starting pitcher Juan Pizarro did his part in helping the Chicago White Sox thwart the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-0. By defeating Arizona, the third-place White Sox improved to 17-22.
Pizarro allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7.2 innings for the White Sox. With the win, he is 4-2 with an ERA of 2.98.
