Diamondbacks Rally For Late Win Over White Sox
Red Faber, despite pitching well, was dismayed with the outcome: a hard-fought, 3-1 Chicago White Sox defeat at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks at U.S. Cellular Field. Arizona has won 3 straight, while Chicago has lost 3 in a row.

Arizona used the timely hitting of Ketel Marte to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Diamondbacks on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Arizona manager . "It's usually not just one thing."
