Hardy Delivers Walk-Off Win for Brewers
|
Teddy Higuera, who is tied for 9th in the NL in innings pitched with 48.2, had a strong outing for the Milwaukee Brewers against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Miller Park. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. The victory gives Milwaukee a record of 18-15.
Milwaukee got a clutch hit from J J Hardy. The shortstop launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Hardy.
