Diamondbacks Use Late Rally to Win 4th Straight
|
Starting pitcher Curt Schilling was a major factor in the 2-1 Arizona Diamondbacks triumph over the Kansas City Royals. Daniel Hudson, credited with the win, is now 3-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Arizona now owns a record of 48-66.
Arizona got a clutch hit from Ketel Marte. The center fielder socked a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was game-ender.
"I'm glad I got one I could handle. Glad I got the barrel on it," said Marte.
