Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Arizona Diamondbacks home opener. Brandon Webb started for the home team against Christy Mathewson for the San Francisco Giants. The Diamondbacks were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 5-1, San Francisco. Christy Mathewson, though, was impressive.
