Haren Electric in 2-0 Arizona Win
|
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Cleveland Indians as starter Dan Haren shut them out, 2-0, at Chase Field. The Arizona pitcher struck out 10 and walked 0 while allowing 2 hits.
"Haren was good but he wasn't flawless," Cleveland manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Arizona, but this is on us."
This season, Haren has gone 5-9 with an ERA of 3.77, posting 95 strikeouts in 100.1 innings.
