We are now 128 games into the season with 34 games left. The NL east is the only divisional race that is not already locked up. The Pirates are on top now with a narrow lead of one game over the Cubs and the Cards. The Yankees and Dodgers are now 11 games ahead of the Giants and the Orioles. In the AL West the White Sox continue to run away with the division with a nine game lead over the Athletics.

Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle are still neck in neck for the home run title at 38 and 37. Rocky Colavito of the Indians is now second in RBI behind Roger Maris. Jim Gentile of the Orioles is tops in OPS ahead of Norm Cash and Willie McCovey. Norm Cash is still on top the batting leaderboard with Wally Moon and Jim Gentile tied for second. Dodgers starter Bill Singer jumps to the top of the pitching wins column tied with Mel Stottlemyre at 19.
