National League Selects September's Best Batter Wednesday, October 1st , 2014 Billy Williams said it was "focus and determination" that led him to winning the September Batter of the Month award for the National League. Whatever it was, the Chicago left fielder could not be denied, hitting .408 with 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored to round out his great month. This year, Williams has hit at a .379 pace and produced 112 RBIs, 34 home runs and scored 118 runs. |
