AL Player of the Week Selected Monday, September 29th , 2014 Brandon Lowe of the Tampa Bay Rays has just enjoyed one of the better weeks of his career. That fact was not lost on American League officials, who named him Player of the Week. Lowe logged a .522 batting average for the Tampa Bay Rays, racking up 6 RBIs and 2 home runs. Lowe is hitting .239 this year with 27 home runs and 87 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .300, 47 walks and scored 76 times. |
