Baltimore got a strong outing from Jim Palmer as the Orioles defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-1, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Baltimore is last in the American League Eastern Division with a record of 30-36.
Baltimore took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Cal Ripken hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Orioles.
