Getting offensive support from Jose Canseco, the Oakland Athletics topped the Los Angeles Angels, 6-5. Canseco went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Athletics. Oakland reliever Andrew Bailey picked up the win to move to 4-1. Troy Percival suffered the loss. Oakland is now 36-28.
