The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a win at Tropicana Field, taking down the Texas Rangers, 7-6. Starting pitcher James Shields was a big reason why. The victory makes Tampa Bay 5-2.

Kevin Kiermaier was the walk-off hero for Tampa Bay. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rays center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Shields pitched well, despite being a bit under the weather. "To be honest, I was sick before the game," he said. "Just a stomach bug."
