The Chicago White Sox knocked off the Los Angeles Angels, 5-1, in American League action at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Chicago pitcher and Puerto Rico, native Juan Pizarro had an outstanding performance. The third-place White Sox now have a win-loss record of 30-34.

Pizarro ran roughshod over the Los Angeles lineup. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 6-4 on the season.
