Cliff P Lee pitched a gem to lead Cleveland to victory over the Texas Rangers, 4-1. With the victory, the Indians upped their record to 34-29.

Jason Giambi, who is tied for 10th in the AL with a .354 on-base percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Giambi contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Cleveland up, 2-1.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Cleveland manager . "Our pregame was pretty good."
