Baltimore Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Jose Canseco did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Oakland Athletics an extra-inning, 7-6 loss to the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Canseco hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Baltimore pitcher Tippy Martinez got the win. He's now 3-2. Dennis Eckersley was tagged with the loss. The last-place Orioles have a record of 26-34.

The decisive blow was delivered by Eddie Murray in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 35-year old right-handed pitcher Dennis Eckersley to win the game for Baltimore. The home crowd went nuts.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Orioles manager .
