Behind a fine performance from Cecil Cooper, the Milwaukee Brewers knocked off the Minnesota Twins, 8-4. Cooper hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Brewers. Milwaukee starter Chris Bosio was credited with the win after throwing 105 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 2-6. The save went to Dan Plesac, his 5th this season.

Cooper had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Brewers went on to win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Cooper.
