The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Houston Astros, 10-6, in 10 innings. Doing his part was first baseman Eddie Murray, who belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to Tippy Martinez in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Larry Andersen took the loss. The Orioles win now puts them at 24-29.
