Brewers Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Fernando Vina was instrumental in his team's 9-7, extra-inning triumph over the Baltimore Orioles. The second baseman was 3 for 7 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Milwaukee Brewers. Milwaukee pitcher Chuck Crim earned the win, hiking his record to 4-0. B J Ryan suffered the loss. The Brewers now have a record of 29-25.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the 13th. With Milwaukee trailing 7-6, Vina jumped on a fastball from 30-year old left-handed pitcher B J Ryan and hit a 3-run home run to left. With one swing, the Brewers had a walk-off win.

"It was terrific getting this win," Vina said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
