The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Boston Red Sox, 9-3. Tampa Bay pitcher and Murfreesboro, Tennessee, native David Price led the way. In 6.2 innings, Price surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The third-place Red Sox now sit at 25-23.
