Colorado Shuts Out Atlanta, 1-0
|
Aaron Cook of the Colorado Rockies toyed with the Atlanta Braves, as he shut them out, 1-0, at Turner Field. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 4-hitter with 4 strikeouts and no walks.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Cook said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
Cook has made 10 starts so far this year and put up a 1-5 won-lost record with a 7.07 ERA. In 49.2 innings he has allowed 60 hits, walked 14 and struck out 30.
