The San Francisco Giants defeated the Minnesota Twins, 7-6, in National League action at AT&T Park. San Francisco pitcher Matt Cain had a standout performance. Rod Beck finished to wrap up his 13th save. The second-place Giants go to 28-21.
Freddie Lindstrom hit a 2-run double off Jared Burton in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Giants in front, 7-6. In addition to the double, Lindstrom had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
