Philadelphia Offense Goes Belly-Up Versus Alcantara, Marlins
|
Sandy Alcantara, who is tied for 7th in the NL with a 1.04 WHIP, was brilliant in helping Miami beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 2-0. Miami bumps their record to 22-26 with the win.
Alcantara picked up the win. He's now 4-5, after putting the Philadelphia offense in the deep freeze. Over 8 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.
