Wet weather did not postpone the Baltimore-Pittsburgh ballgame.

Baltimore starter Dave McNally clamped down on the Pittsburgh offense, while his team sailed to victory, 12-2. McNally picked up the win for Baltimore, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-3.

The Orioles had to work out of trouble with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 12-2, Baltimore. But Pittsburgh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had mounted a threat. George Grantham dug in at the plate. But on a 1-2 fastball, Grantham popped out.

Baltimore bumps their record to 22-22 with the win.
