Victory Over Rays Takes Seattle to 26-13
The Seattle Mariners picked up a win at Safeco Field, taking down the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3. Starting pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma was a big reason why. Kazuhiro Sasaki was called on to finish, recording his 13th save. Seattle now sports a record of 26-13.

Had Julio Rodriguez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Rodriguez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Mariners.

"Hisashi's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Seattle manager .
