Fournier drives in 5 runs, Los Angeles Gets 7-4 Victory
Benefiting from Jack Fournier's productive game, the Los Angeles Dodgers downed the San Francisco Giants, 7-4. Fournier went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Dodgers. The defeat makes San Francisco 22-16.

Fournier contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Los Angeles in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Fournier took a fastball from Joe McGinnity and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Dodgers to leap in front, 3-2.

"Not the sexiest win," said Dodgers manager , "but I'll take it."
